The importance of Access:
Our experience in Struct-Mast Engineers for little more than three decades, we have understood importance of the access which has a decisive role to play in execution of all construction activities irrespective of nature and type of construction activities say repair activities or new construction activities.
To begin with our innovative
engineer conceptualized few good ideas to innovate a suitable access system depending on the requirement and need at site followed by a good design, apt fabrication, assembling and used to reach each and
every nook and corner of the facade.
This system is devised to operate it in most:
- simple and humble manner;
- is constructed out of standardized, controlled and proven engineering elements;
- with a motto to earn the Client satisfaction;
- users friendly approach;
- following safety measures as per OSHA with host of other beneficial measures.
1.0 "Tubular" Scaffold:
Initially for high-rise buildings up to ten storey we designed tubular scaffold with following features which had brought down the accidents to almost nil.
- The individual weight of each member is less than 15Kg.
- Each frame is partitioned to segregate to facilitate work and transfer of material without hindrance.
- Safe to work up to 10 Storey height.
- Requires to fixed with building facade with help of anchor bolts.
- Easy to erect and assemble at site.
- Repeated use. We are repeating the frame since 1986 onward.
- Spacing of each frame can be varied from 1.8, 2.1 and 2.5M.
- The partition can be used as ladder and also mason can adjust their planks at every 500 mm height.
- Can be covered with intermediate platforms and screen to arrest falling debris from height.
- Temporary ladder from ground level to higher heights can be arranged to climb up or down.
- Sturdy design and conducive to users of the scaffold
Benefit:
- The access is designed with low cost;
- More than 100 repeated usage have been achieved.
- Can reduce debris flying off the scaffold by using screen and creating at inter mediate level temporary platforms there by reducing risk to inmates and users of the building.
- Easy to transport, to stock, to shift and erect in place.
- Requires skilled labour to erect.
Application:
The tubular scaffold is in use since 1986 onward with proprietary design. Application are effectively used for:
Access to construct and repair high-rise towers up to ten storey;
Construction and repairs of overhead water tank, intze tank, large overhead water tank;
Decks of large machine foundations in power house, cement industries etc.;
Bridge construction;
retaining wall construction;

2.0 Suspended moving platform:
The suspended moving platform was conceptualised by our engineers to approach to all heights in high-rise building in Mumbai and being in use since 1989 on wards with a proprietary design.
- The platforms is designed as per OSHA;
- The wire ropes are suspended from terrace level;
- Assembled in small lengths to required shape;
- We have sued it to access systems up to thirty storey, chimneys and cooling tower;
- he platform has all safety measures like railing on either side of the platform, toe board, sturdy designs, constructed with standard rolled sections and GI wire ropes and designed for construction load of 250 Kg per SqM.
- The suspenders are out-riggers resting at terrace / deck level with adequate dead-man to maintain the balance while executing the work.
- We have successfully used for repairs to jetty structures, silos and chimneys.
- All most all civil engineering activities namely concreting, grouting, flitching RCC members with steel, fibrewrap and many other applications have been operated successfully.

3.0 Sliding platform:

The system was devised by Struct-Mast Engineers to approach to undersdie of deck for bridges and jetty approach upto a span of 18M length, high ceilings columns spaced @ 18M c/c., Stadium roof slabs. The design is as per relavant BIS code and safety measures are as per OSHA.
- The platforms is designed as per standard engineering practice and safety measures as per OSHA;

- The suspenders are derived from rails installed at the site on which entire platform will slide with help of pulling machines;
- Assembled in small lengths to required lengths;
- We have used it to access ceiling in Brabourne stadium and Hindustan Mills Ltd.;
- The platform has all safety measures like railing on either side of the platform, toe board, sturdy designs of deck sheet, constructed with standard rolled sections and designed for construction load of 250 Kg per SqM.
- We have successfully used for repairs to stadium, jetty approach structures;
